How do you use the WBAT platform?
Safety Reporting and Safety Risk Assessments (SRAs)
What do you consider the most useful part of the WBAT platform?
Confidentiality, accessibility (i.e., WBAT Mobile app), and detail of reports. Have been able to reduce many negative trends.
Please identify a recent safety issue or problem you identified in your data:
We have identified multiple trends within our flight and maintenance operations that have reduced safety risk by using WBAT.
Please explain how you mitigated the issue or problem:
The Event Review Committee (ERC) develops many mitigations and corrective actions within a “just culture” environment. The largest trend reduction was in the area of air proximities. Through the reports, we were able to identify where the events were occurring and were able to change procedures to mitigate the risks.
